Lazy peroghy casserole a la crockpot
Hello again everyone! I am BACK! And it's the FALL! HOORAY!!!! The most wonderful time of the year! It's also my favorite time to start up the crockpot again!!!! This is a recipe I've been pondering for a while, but never made...yet. I've read other recipes like it, and keep thinking about how to make it stand out a bit more. I mean, most of us love mashed potatoes and cheese, but how do you prevent it from being bland and dull? So, here is my recipe off the top of my head...and I'm going to make tomorrow and hope it turns out, ha! Lazy Peroghy Casserole Ingredients: 6-8 medium potatoes, boiled til soft Salt/pepper/garlic powder 2 cups of shredded cheese No boil lasagna noodles 2 cups cottage cheese 2 eggs, beaten 1 onion, fried in butter til browned 1/2 pound of bacon, fried and diced Method: 1. Wash and peel your potatoes; boil until very soft. Drain, mash with butter. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. While still warm, mix in 1 cup
